The Project
Hidden Moose of Wisconsin exists to advance the understanding and conservation of Wisconsin's moose through long-term, field-based research and public education. By transforming individual observations into credible scientific knowledge, we help build a deeper understanding of one of Wisconsin's most elusive mammals.
By combining continuous field research with public education, the project helps clarify where moose are present, how they use the landscape, and what their presence means for Wisconsin’s ecosystems.
