About the event
Hidden Moose of Wisconsin is excited to join the North Lakeland Discovery Center for its Nibbles & Knowledge series!
For more than a decade, Amanda Griggs has documented hundreds of moose observations across northern Wisconsin, revealing a story that challenges long-held assumptions about the species. Through photographs, trail camera images, field research, and individual stories like the well-known bull Pancho, participants will explore the evidence supporting Wisconsin’s resident moose population and learn how citizen science is helping us better understand these elusive animals. The presentation will also highlight ongoing conservation efforts and ways the public can get involved in monitoring and protecting Wisconsin’s moose.
Come enjoy an evening of moose stories, light appetizers, and conversation!
