For more than a decade, Amanda Griggs has documented hundreds of moose observations across northern Wisconsin, revealing a story that challenges long-held assumptions about the species. Through photographs, trail camera images, field research, and individual stories like the well-known bull "Pancho," participants will explore the evidence supporting Wisconsin's resident moose population and learn how citizen science has contributed to a greater understanding of these elusive animals. The presentation also
highlights ongoing conservation efforts and how the public can
become involved in monitoring and protecting Wisconsin's moose.
